Tell the truth.
I know some of you have been thinking it.
I figured now might be a good time to bring it up in case it was obvious and all. So in order to avoid that whole awkward–Has she or hasn’t she? I can’t tell for sure… Do you think it’s safe to make eye contact?? –inner monologue, I thought it was best I come clean.
Yes. I’ve had blog enhancements.
There. I’ve said it. And for those of you who don’t get US Weekly and are therefore not as adept at spotting said enhancements–for the sake of full disclosure–here’s a list of what I’ve done:
- I added a subscription link so you can easily subscribe to All Things G&D through your blog reader or your email (all the cool kids are doing it).
- I added my G&D monogram to the bottom of each post as my signature.
- Photos of our home now line the lower right side of the screen. You can click on any photo to find out more about that space and to view additional pictures.
- I’ve also added a Related Posts feature to the bottom of each post. If you like what you see in the post you’re reading, click on Related Posts to see more. I thought this would be a good way to help people navigate the blog and maybe discover old posts they missed.
- And I figured out how to do bullets.
I hope you’ll all support me on my decision to do a little nip and tuck around here. I personally think it was for the better. Not that there was anything wrong with the way things looked before, but let’s face it–blog enhancements are the new Botox. Only more time consuming.
