Happy COLORFUL Friday!
Today is one of my favorite days of the year! No, you wouldn't have found me storming the doors of my local mall at 4am this morning or body slamming 5-year-olds at Toys R Us. (I have an aversion to crowds that rivals my aversion to open shelving, and I'll be damned if I set foot in a retail store today--eek!) Today IS however, a day I've been impatiently waiting for since September--it's the day I watch my favorite Christmas movies while I put up my Christmas tree and decorate the house! Eeee--I'm so excited!! Few things make me happier than Love Actually and my house decorated in white twinkle lights.

Now, on to the colorful part of Black Friday! While I wouldn't be caught dead in a mall today, I have nothing against a little online shopping! You have to check out my friend Allison's (aka Half of VAMH) Esty shop. She makes the cutest monogrammed ornaments, which I plan to use as gift tags for some of my Christmas gifts this year! And let's face it--who doesn't love a good monogram?

Happy Decorating! Do you do lights outside? I hate crowds, too - with a passion.

Sounds like a great way to spend the day (which I'll do as well, once my husband stops cursing the wreath that will only light up on half of it's side....). Good call on Love Actually, I think I'll throw that into the dvd player as well :-)
