This Handbag Needs Me!
The latest Dooney & Bourke catalog recently arrived, and I almost tossed it out without looking because I've been such a good little saver/non-shopper lately. But really--what's the harm in just looking? So I opened it up and was doing a quite stellar job of resisting any and all temptation.
Until I got to page 17.
Page 17 made me literally gasp out loud. Page 17 had my heart racing and my pupils dilating. Page 17 even prompted G to anxiously call from the other room, "Sweetie? Are you okay??" Staring back at me on page 17, calling my name--no, screaming my name--was the Dooney & Bourke Mambo Medium Lucy in burnt orange. I need (yes, neeeed) another non-leather handbag, and I've been craving something in orange--my favorite color (you might have guessed). It was love at first sight. I need it. And it needs me.

Dear Santa--please bring me this handbag on Christmas Day and I promise to be a good girl for the rest of the year (that's only 6 days, right?).

LOVE the bag....totally cute. :o)
Not my cup of tea (am more into indie designer stuff) but it's cute!
As a total Dooney addict, I must agree...it's on my wish list on my page :)
That's hawt. :nod
That is an adorable bag. Hopefully Santa will bring it to you!
How adorable! As long as it doesn't come in green, I am safe :)
Very nice choice. I have been a fan of Dooney & Burke for years. When I became a freshman in high school, my wonderful and crazy aunt insisted that every young girl going into high school must have a Dooney & Burke handbag....Wow, I know, and so she made sure I had one and then another on my 16th birthday and so on. From then on I was hooked to designer handbags. Anyways, I have really enjoyed your blog and keep up with it daily!
The plum little number on page 28 is screaming my name.
Oh baby she is cute. you must have her. Let's write a note to Santa about this.
Very cute! I think santa should leave that under the tree!
PS- the rent movie isn't too bad, it just isn't the play. But it isn't that bad, you should watch it. Wine would help :)
Love it! Love it! Love it!
