All Things Loved In September
Typically for my monthly "All Things Loved" posts I highlight about five of my favorite things, but September was such a wonderful month that I just couldn't limit myself to five. So in honor of turning 30, here are 30 of my favorite things from this month!
- Turning 30!
- Accomplishing my goal of running 400 miles in 2009!
- Cinnamon Rolls
- More cinnamon
- Dinner at Samba Brazilian Grill with my in-laws to celebrate both mine and my mother-in-law's birthdays. Most incredible food ever.
- Butter
- The return of Grey's Anatomy
- The return of The Biggest Loser
- These shirred v-neck maternity tops from Old Navy. They're so soft you'll never want to take it off!
- Fish and chips
- Nerds candy
- Manicures
- Pedicures
- Pumpkin cheesecake
- Pumpkin spiced lattes
- My friend Beth's ridiculously amazing pumpkin bread.
- My fabulous new diaper bag. (Look for it in an upcoming post!)
- Sleeping in
- Pancakes
- My weekend getaway to Alabama to visit my beloved Whores. We had an amazing weekend! (More on this to come!)
- The incredible surprise baby shower the Whores threw for me! (More on this to come, too!)
- Sleeping in
- Feeling my baby girl kick and move around inside of me.
- Sweaters & Cardigans
- Wearing long, comfy scarves.
- This book: The Art of Racing in the Rain. I've been wanting to read it ever since it was recommended to me by my friend Tappa, and then my friend Jill got it for me for my birthday! If you love dogs you'll love this book. It was a good read.
- This YouTube video which made me laugh so hard I nearly choked. "I think we're dead. Time is going by really really really really slowly."
- Reading that Katherine Heigl and her husband recently adopted a special needs child. So heart-warming.
- The start of football season (<--that one is for G.)
- The arrival of fall!

Great List! =)
Yes, you certainly have a lot to be excited about! Racing in the Rain is the best book - I loved it! Best wishes...

i spy: "sleeping in" twice! good for you! :)
Ahh, the return of pumpkind flavored things is at the top of my favorite things list this month! Yummm.
Soo,you really liked sleeping in? haha, let me know what that's like. I'm finding that since becoming engaged, my weekends are starting earlier then I would like! haha
Congrats again on making your running goal!

aaah, sleeping in...just a distant memory! relish in bed as long as you can!
are you enjoying the newest biggest loser? i am just so tired of the 2-hr episodes that i decided not to watch this season. working and mommy-ing full time have made me be extra selective of my shows.
almost everything on your list would be on a list of mine. i'm loving that it's finally sweater weather too!
Great list. I started doing this on my blog too (and linked to you of course) because I love it so much. It's nice to sit back and reflect. So exciting to hear about you feeling the baby move!
Love, love, love Samba!!
I have that old navy shirt in both wise owl and plummy mummy. Love them! I ordered them online and was shocked at how soft they were when I got them.
D- I just watched that YouTube video... the anchor is a good friend of mine (she used to live in Madison and now lives in Seattle)! Oh, small world. And hilarious story.
xoxo

Love the monthly list! But when's the nursery talk gonna start??? :)
I'm loving Pumpkin Spiced Latte's too!!!!! I'm drinking one RIGHT NOW! Yes, I had to shout that because they're just so damn good!
So are the pumpkin scones but they're always sold out when I want one.
Ok, back to read the rest of the list. I got so excited when I saw the Pumpkin Spiced Latte, I had to comment right then.
Enjoy!
Now I'm craving beth's pumpkin bread!
I thought for SURE the 30 for September was for the 30 days but I am wrong. :) Happy Birthday and Congrats all in one!
Thanks for your comments everyone! Yes, I'm afraid that once this baby is born I'll never see "sleeping in" again. I'm trying to convince myself that sleep is overrated so it won't be such a shock to my system (and mental health) but so far that's not working.
@bklyn--I'm loving Biggest Loser, but I agree w/you about the 2 hour episodes--that is WAY TOO LONG! And it's so drawn out, too. Ugh. G and I TiVo it and fast-forward through as much as we can to get to the good stuff, which helps.
@Lesley--OMG, that's crazy! She just makes the video IMO. The girls and I were watching it over the weekend and laughing SO HARD! We all agreed that she deserves some kind of award for being able to pull herself together so quickly after giving in to the laughter!
@Sarah--Nursery talk will be coming soon! I hope to have it finished by the end of this month and will do a big reveal post then. I'm so excited! I've thought about sharing my ideas as I go, but every time I tell someone in real life about my plans they look at me like I'm crazy and say, "I just cannot picture that." But I have a vision! And in my mind it looks amazing, so I'm sticking to it, but waiting until it's all pulled together to post about it. Shouldn't be long now!
@K*OS--Mmm...pumpkin scones sound awesome. I may have to try one of those now, too!
