I’m a mom.
Wow.
That’s still so weird to say. And think. I’m a mom and I’m loving every minute with my gorgeous daughter. Our little family of three is doing great, and once I can pry my eyes off my precious child long enough to do more than eat, first I’ll shower, and then I’ll write about the labor and delivery and tell you all about Kate. But for now I have some previously written posts scheduled to publish over the next couple of weeks to finish out my maternity fashion and thoughts on pregnancy. Enjoy and I’ll be back soon!

Accessorizing the Bump
I love accessorizing my baby bump. On this day I used this oversized flower pin that I made to hold a non-maternity cardigan sweater closed. It was a look I had a lot of fun with!

Cardigan: New York & Company
Shirt: Gap
Jeans: Gap Maternity
Boots: Nine West
Flower Pin: DIY
Pregnancy: 37 weeks

You really do have some great fashion and style sense! I really like the flower pin!!!
Take your time! We will be patient while waiting. You are so thoughtful to have pre-prepared some posts for us. And what a cute thing to do with the flower. Very Carrie Bradshaw early in season 3.

I have to ask–how on earth did you keep your hair looking so wonderful throughout the pregnancy? If you tell me that’s your natural haircolor, I’ll probably call you a liar, or at least be very jealous.
I’m at week 14 of my first pregnancy and stumbled on your blog when looking for how to create an upholstered headboard. And I’m officially an avid follower of All Things G&D! Congratulations on your little one! It’s very exciting to read about your pregnancy as I progress through my own (and to see your beautiful end result…named after Kate Spade? š Be honest.) -Jaime
Thanks so much for your comments everyone! We are all doing great, and I’m looking forward to sharing more about Kate with all of you. Stay tuned!
@Jamie–Your comment made me lol! This isn’t my natural haircolor, but it’s close. My hair is naturally an auburn color, and I like to mix it up every once in a while by tinting it different shades.
And nope, Kate was not named after Kate Spade, but we did joke with people that “Spade” was going to be her middle name, lol!
I love this outfit!! I just found out I’m pregnant and as a “fashionista” am worried about the maternity options. Thanks for putting my mind at ease!!!
