One of my favorite holiday decor ideas is wrapping picture frames and artwork to look like holiday presents. Even though I’ve been doing it for several years in a row, it’s easy to give it a fresh look every December with new wrapping paper designs, ribbons and accessories. Here’s a look at my gift-wrapped photo gallery wall this year:
This year I added a colorful ornament wreath (from Lowe’s) over the mirror – it was too pretty and shiny to put outside!
These gift-wrapped picture frames are quite possibly one of the easiest holiday DIY projects you can do, making them perfect for Hometalk’s Hometalk for the Holidays campaign! Hometalk for the Holidays is all about showcasing simple holiday DIY projects that can be done on a budget – often with things you already have laying around the house!
One of the highlights of my holidays is the opportunity to be a part of Hometalk for the Holidays, appearing on local news shows and sharing ideas like this one! Yesterday I was so excited to do a segment demo’ing these gift-wrapped picture frames with the lovely Lindsay Veremis on WKOW’s Wake Up Wisconsin, located in my very own hometown!
As you can see from the video, this project is super simple to do! Looking for a little more info? Here are step-by-step photos:

Love this idea! Now I just need to get my gallery wall act together.
