One night this month, Kate and I went upstairs for her usual bedtime routine. Kate walked into the bathroom to start brushing her teeth while I walked down the hallway to grab her bath robe. As I walked back toward the bathroom I saw her looking at her face in the mirror…and then she sniffed at the air and said:
“I smell potential!”
