Parade of Homes–Exposed Beams

April 24, 2009 By Dusty Rogers 13 Comments

This 4,100 square foot Parade home, built by Encore Construction, is located in the Bristol Gardens neighborhood near Sun Prairie, WI.

I loved the bead-board ceiling and exposed beams in this gourmet kitchen:

At a glance, I thought the title said “exposed beans” and my mind totally wandered into the gutter. =]

I’m putting this house on my wishlist for Christmas. And once I get it, I’ll sleep in that stunning kitchen so that I’ll never have to leave it.

Ooh I love the exterior colors and the kitchen island. Beautiful!

I posted last night with one of your Parade of Homes posts — thanks for the inspiration (as always!)

that kitchen is unreal. and tell freckles that she can fight me for that house…but since she is older and has more combat experience, she will be doing it one handed and possibly blindfolded. you know. just to be fair.

I love the exposed beams on the ceiling in the kitchen – but that beadboard… hmmm… How did it look in person? Was it painted a color that went with the kitchen cupboards?

What part of me could I sell to have exposed beams on my kitchen ceiling? That kitchen is heaven.

    LMAO FC–you are too funny!

@Amanda–the beadboard looked beautiful in person. I really loved it. And yes, I’d say it was the same color as the kicthen cabinets.

@Centsational Girl–if you find out, let me know! I’d love exposed beams in my entire house. They’re so beautiful!
