Parade of Homes–French Country Style Home

May 6, 2009 By Dusty Rogers 11 Comments

This 3,141 square foot, 4 bedroom, “french country-style” home was built by Vintage Homes and is located in the Southbridge neighborhood of Waunakee, WI.

Entryway and formal living room:

Sitting room, just off the kitchen:

The tile around the tub in the master bathroom was beautiful:

Hand-painted jerseys on the laundry room wall:

The bear paws painted on the wall were so cute–they even carried into the closet!

Outdoor basketball court:

I love when you show the homes you’ve seen. I’m beginning some projects in my own home now and it’s great to see these for ideas!

That’s Garrett’s nursery bedding and pillow! Guess they are Target shoppers too. :giggle

You know I am swooning over this house. Right up my alley.

@violarulz–I was thinking the same thing, which is why I put “french country” in quotes. It’s self-described as french country (if you click on the builder’s link) so I thought I’d honor that.

That is too funny — when I saw this I thought it had Beth (B) ALL OVER it! The sitting room leaves little to be desired though, boring! The entry is beautiful, and the kitchen!

Thanks for posting these pictures! I love how the beams on the ceiling in the living room are wood and the trim is white. I’ve had this delima in my house and I’m so glad to see a mixture of wood and painted wood. Thanks!

Just pointing out that the house you featured is almost 4 times as big as my condo.

    Just sayin’.
