Remember that time a group of New Yorkers and Oreckers nearly gave me an anxiety attack/heart attack killer combo when they came to my house to shoot footage for a national television commercial for Oreck’s new VersaVac?
Well guess what – the commercial is live!
I was so nervous to watch it that I literally waited four days from the time they emailed me the link until I actually opened it. I had no idea what to expect, but quickly went from nervous to excited when I saw that G made the cut! Check out the commercial below and see if you can spot him:
Other bloggers featured in the commercial include the Shanty sisters (Whitney and Ashley) from Shanty 2 Chic, Veronica Armstrong, Marian from Miss Mustard Seed, and Sarah from The Ugly Duckling House. I met nearly all of these fabulous ladies at the Haven Conference and it’s so neat to see all of us featured like this!
Everyone did such a great job, and I’m especially impressed with all the work the Oreck team and their partners put into making this happen. I don’t know what all goes into creating a commercial but from the small bit I’ve seen I can tell it’s A LOT.
I’m not sure what times of day the commercial airs, or on which networks, but if you happen to catch it I’d love to hear!

I SAW IT ON TV LAST NIGHT!!!!! Do I lose my “friend of ATG&D” card if I tell you it came on while I was watching Fox News? :X I was in bed scrolling through pinterest on my phone when I heard your voice and head popped up. “I KNOW THEM!!!” I yelled to my hubby. He was all “Uhhhh, ok” and went back to snoring.
