January 1: Kicking off the New Year with friends who spent the night after some festive NYE celebrating, and a look at all the fun ahead of us this month on our calendar!
January 3: I found out I was the winner of Homes.com and AptsforRent.com’s December Instagram Challenge, making me the lucky recipient of three $100 Visa gift cards – woohoo!
January 4: G&D date night!
January 6: G took Kate to her first Badger Women’s Basketball game – she’s a fan!
January 9: Kate’s 3rd birthday! We celebrated on the day of with a little family party at our house complete with Kate’s favorite meal (chicken taco chili) and (at the birthday girl’s request) a Cars birthday cake. It was a lovely, low-key evening leading up to the big event…
January 11: Stuffing my car to the max with 60 helium-inflated balloons for Kate’s upcoming birthday party!
January 13: Kate’s Cars themed birthday party at a movie theater! With 70 people in attendance (32 of them children) there was no shortage of loved ones and fun as we celebrated Kate turning 3-years-old with the help of Lightening McQueen, Mater, cake pops, and the big screen!
January 20: Much to Kate’s disappointment, it was time to say goodbye to Christmas and take down our tree and all the rest of our Christmas decorations.
January 23: The exciting day that the fabulous people from The Tile Shop swung by and my kitchen had its first photo shoot! (More details coming soon!)
January 26: A(n expensive) trip to Whole Foods with my friend Beth as we get ready for the 2013 Whole Living Challenge!
January 27: Enjoying my last bottle of wine for the next few weeks. I may have shed a little tear when the last drop was poured.
January 28: Goodbye coffee, good morning hot water with lemon – it’s the start to my 2013 Whole Living Challenge!
