Melissa Oholendt Photography

October 22, 2009 By Dusty Rogers 23 Comments

Last weekend G and I were lucky enough to spend an afternoon with Melissa Oholendt–an amazingly talented and oh-so-fun lifestyle and wedding photographer from the Twin Cities. Melissa contacted me several months ago to see if G and I would be interested in a photo shoot. One look at her work and I was sold! Shortly afterwards, I announced we were expecting our first child and sent Mel an email asking if she’d be willing to postpone our plans a bit to do a pregnancy photo shoot with us in the fall. I was thrilled when she agreed!

Here’s a little teaser from our session:

And you can see more at her blog: Melissa Oholendt Photography.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and such wonderful memories, Mel! It was so great to work with you and I sincerely hope we meet again!

These pictures made me feel all warm and fuzzy :)
I can’t wait to see what baby “G&D” will look like. I’ve been reading your blog for a few months now and I just adore you guys! Thank you for setting such a great example and being a “big sister” by sharing all of your experiences with us.
It’s an honor to be able to peak inside your world!

This is my first comment, but I’ve been reading for awhile. These photos are so gorgeous! I must say I prefer the outdoor pregnant shots to the naked belly sexier shots that a lot of people do. I like those too – but the outdoor shots are so sweet. You guys look great!

You guys look amazing- so excited as parents-to-be. This is one thing that did not get crossed off my list when I was pregnant, so living vicariously through you is fun!

Ohhhhhh how I love you. I mean really – you realize that I am now totally obsessed with you and Greg? I’m so glad we’re friends.

(And I am a comment whore so I am pretty much in heaven.)

PS – SARAH I LOVE TO YOU! Man – together we would be like a trifecta of fashion, sweetness and sass.
