Day 6 of my summer vacation was a busy one. It started off a little rough thanks to my frenemy Miller Lite, but hey–days off are made for sleeping in, right? The afternoon was spent running (Goal D?? Anyone?) tons of errands. I definitely shopped my ass off (Goal C) although it wasn’t for shoes,
My Summer Vacation–Day 5
Day 5 of my summer vacation was a success! I kicked it off by updating my blog (Goal G), and then spent the majority of the day cleaning the upstairs level of our house (Goal A) and questioning why 2 people need 4 bathrooms. In addition to cleaning, I also crossed a few house projects
The Inside Of My Fridge
I received a rather interesting request from AudreyGolightly who wants to see the inside of my fridge–as is–right this very moment. Well, who am I to deny a loyal reader? So here it is–sans a nice cleaning and any attempt at straightening–for Ms. Golightly and all you other voyeurs out there. Allow me to give
My Summer Vacation–Day 4
Eek–it’s almost half over!! Here’s what I accomplished yesterday: Cleaned the kitchen (goal A) which was already dirty again from Saturday’s cleaning. Watered all the plants–inside and outside–and did some weeding (that can fall under B, right?). Ran 3 miles, did 30 minutes on the elliptical, and some ab work (goal D). And I ate
My Summer Vacation–Day 3
So my friend Jill stopped by last night and I was telling her about my lofty goals this week. We both agreed the margaritas we were drinking could count as fruit, and then moved on to another subject. I mention to her that I had a hot dog for lunch, which actually makes 8 days

My Summer Vacation–Day 2
I started out strong in meeting my summer vacation goals yesterday, doing my part–once again–to save the enviroment (goal E) by recycling the sea of beer cans & bottles lining the kitchen counter from our night of heavy drinking with friends. But alas, Day 2 was not the raging success I’d hoped it would be.
I’ve Been Tagged!
We interrupt your regularly scheduled update of me saving the world, losing 5 pounds, and drinking like I’m auditioning for the Rolling Stones to bring you my answers to this very essential cyberspace questionnaire. Thanks to the fabulous Freckles Chick for inviting me to the party–sorry I was so late in RSVPing! I was tagged
My Summer Vacation–Day 1
So I was talking to my sister Brittny, making plans for her to come down for the 4th, and I mention she could drive down any day next week because I have the week off. She replies in shock, “What?!?! You have the whole week off?? You suck!!” To which I reply, “Um. You’re a
My Summer Vacation Is Here!
Sweet Baby Jesus–my summer vacation is here! I left my office yesterday at 4:30pm, and won’t be returning until July 7th–WooHOO!! My brilliant plan for a summer vacation started two years ago. We had recently moved into our house, my to-do list was keeping me up at night, and work was driving me to drink
