The G to My D

August 23, 2008 By Dusty Rogers 11 Comments

Anyone familiar with Bill Simmons, a.k.a. The Sports Guy? He’s a writer for ESPN with a really funny sports-related blog (G’s favorite). Every once in a while his wife–known as the Sports Gal–will hijack the blog and write a post of her own. Sometimes it’s a sports-related post from her point of view. And sometimes it’s just a post about random pop culture topics, like the time she did her hilarious weekly recap of ABC’s The Bachelor. G knows how much I love me some Sports Gal so he emails me the link anytime she posts.

It was only after reflecting on the Sports Guy’s blog–and his wife’s guest appearances–that G informed me he’s ready to take the plunge.

It’s been almost 5 months since I started this blog. Which means almost 5 months now that I’ve been trying to convince G–my sexy, gorgeous husband–to write something for it. And now I’m happy to report the long awaited day is soon approaching. The day that G starts contributing to our cyberspace empire that bears his first initial. The day he becomes my writing sidekick–the the bling to my blog–offering my predominately female readership a little bit of male perspective.

Yeah that’s right. G Unit has a post ready for publishing!

And in true man diva fashion, he was quick to inform me I’m his publisher–not his editor. I’ve yet to see his introductory masterpiece, but I’ve been asked not to make any changes or edits to it whatsoever. So get ready for THIS GUY:

Totally uncensored.

Oh man, I love Sports Gal – B reads it out loud to me every time she posts. Because he hasn’t yet learned that I’m much better at reading than listening. Can’t wait to hear from G.

Awesome! I’m looking forward to hearing from the other half of G&D!

*and yes, since you’re jewelry-phobic you can include your current shiny objects in the tag. šŸ˜‰

Well this much I can say, if he’s even half as fun as you, we’ll be rolling in the isles!

I did a PS to my bad hair tag that I’m sure you’ll agree with.
