Mid-Year Resolution Check In

July 1, 2009 By Dusty Rogers 10 Comments

Today is July 1st, and you know what that means? It’s the start of the second half of 2009, which makes it the perfect time to do a New Year’s Resolution check in!

My 2009 New Year’s Resolution was to run 400 miles. As you can see by my little running log in the right margin of this blog, so far I’ve ran 221 miles this year–which puts me a little over halfway there.

It also means I’m on target to meet my goal by the end of this year–woohoo!

Now it’s time to check in–how are you doing on your 2009 Resolution?

Way to go! I just started running and a mile goal seems daunting, so I’ve been setting little monthly run this many times goals.

That’s so great! You are right on track! Even more so if you run on a track.

Great job on the miles ran so far! Where did you find the mile counter? I would like to set that up too for myself. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks everyone!

@Jill–congrats on taking up running. And good for you for starting with small goals! That’s great for not overdoing it and burning out!

@Jessica–It’s just an html widget that I added to my blog and did myself I found the little runner gif doing a photobucket search, left aligned it when I added it as a picture, and then typed in the text next to it Each day I run I just edit the widget the include the new miles. Hope that helps, and feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
