For those of you reading this post through a feed–come on out, I have a fabulous new blog design to show off!
I am so excited to debut my new blog design today! First I have to give credit to my friend Beth who discovered this wonderful template from Our Blog Templates and tried it out on her blog Unskinny Boppy. As soon as I saw it I was in love!
And next I have to give huge, MAJOR, I could never thank her enough shout out to my friend Allison who designed my gorgeous new blog header. I just love it! This woman is absolutely amazing, let me tell ya. She knows how picky I am and yet bravely took on the challenge of coming up with something out of thin air that I would like. She’s already familiar with my overall style and the only direction I gave her was to keep my orange and brown colors. In no time she had about a dozen different options for me to consider–all different, and all absolutely incredible. I picked out my favorite ones, gave her some feedback, asked, “How about adding a houndstooth pattern?” and before long she had another dozen designs for me to choose from. Once I picked my winner I emailed her back saying, “This is the one–I love it! I don’t think it could be any more perfect!” And then she proved me wrong by taking it and tweaking it just a bit more until it truly was perfect. Thank you so much Allison! Your creativity (and patience with me throughout this process) absolutely amazes me. You are such a wonderful friend!

@The Minneapolis Life–just checked out your new blog design and it looks great! Love the header (and your tag line, hehee)!
@Sarah–if you check out their website (Link in the post) you can see all the different templates they have. I believe most of them are customizable so you can change the colors. For example, if you look at my blog and my friend Beth’s blog (Link in post) you can see they’re the same templates, but they look totally different b/c we used different colors. Instructions for how to upload the template to your blog are included on the site–it’s actually pretty easy! I started a 2nd “test” blog and did it on there first to decide the layout, colors, and how I wanted everything to look before I did it on my All Things G&D blog. Oh, and I was sure to c&p the html code of my old All Things G&D blog before I deleted it and added the new code–just in case! Hope that helps, and feel free to let me know if you have any other questions!
