A few months ago I posted about one of my favorite new accessories–a tweed hat that quickly became a staple for my weekends when I didn’t feel like doing my hair before stepping out to run errands. Well I’m happy to report I’ve finally found a summer option that fits the bill (pardon the pun)! Presenting my new weekend hat from Nine West:
What’s been your favorite weekend accessory of the summer?
A ponytail. It’s a life and time saver. I also live in my flippy flops on the weekends.

So jealous that you can pull off a cute hat like that! I have a huge forehead and a strangely flat head. Needless to say, it makes hat wearing very, very difficult!

You are so chic! I buy hats but never have the nerve to walk out the door in them. My fav accessories for the summer have been a headband so I don’t have to fix my bangs and flippy floppies. Also kind of obessesed with layering necklaces.
I love the new hat!! I lost my favorite hat in DC this year and have yet to find a good replacement.
My summer staple is my denim mini. I wear it non stop… but I’m from Jersey, where denim is practically a religion.
Lately it’s been any cute top that is strapless. Not like some ‘goin out’ top…but just one that’s fitted up top and flowy on the bottom(similar to your fab. green dress…but a shirt!) It’s comfy, quick, cool, and gives my itty bitties a confidence boost that they are in deed big enough to hold a top on me!
I like that hat. I have been wearing my favorite sandals all summer. They are by Ugg, and are sort of gladiator, but not too much. I love them.

i always rock the bedhead look, so no special accessories are required. sometimes i like to wear some fancy barrettes…

I love the hat! I have lived in flip flops this summer-but wish I had a cute hat to hide a bad haircut!
a cloth headband. I spend a lot of weekends on the beach (the benefits of living an hour from the jersey shore) and a headband has been the best thing ever to keep my hair out of my face. Plus, it keeps from getting my hairline sunburnt- a personal pet peeve of mine.
