That is funny. If it helps at all, I have a friend who just gave birth and her doctor told her to go ahead and have 1 to 2 drinks when she wants because it helps milk production. Just an fyi! š
That’s awesome. I really missed drinking wine when I was pregnant too. And then breastfeeding sort of makes it so I can’t have as much wine as I’d like…which is probably a good thing, actually.
Soon, though, for you. Hang in there. But remember, the last thing you’ll ever want as a new mommy is a hangover.
Dusty you crack me up!! I was just telling my bf about how I came to find your blog (had something to do with our love for vino that we share lol). and then I saw your post this morning on my google read and I about DIED. cause wine does not last longer than a week in my apartment, and a full wine rack just means i get to drink more before going to the store!! lol.
So glad your pregnancy is going well. Ps- i too passed out when I saw an episiotomy for the first time (still haven’t had babies yet, so i can’t wait to see what happens when the reality hits).
… and I’ve got a case to send you once you squeeze that baby out. How many days now ? Can you say “Pump and Dump” Practice now. “Pump and Dump”. Trust me, in six months, that will roll right off your tongue.
any christmas decorations or is that out since you only have a few weeks left before baby comes? i’m sure i speak for all but we can’t wait to meet her and see the new room.
@Freckles Chick–Oh yeah, after I drafted this post I thought, “Gee, the other unbelievable thing about this picture is that my wine rack actually has wine bottles in it” LOL! I can totally relate!
@jbhat–Good point! I’m sure it’ll be quite the balancing act. I also plan on breast feeding, so it will be quite a while before I’ll be hitting the bottle hard again. I’m just looking forward to that first glass. Mmmm.
@Kelly Williams–I’m really not picky when it comes to my wine, just as long as it’s not too sweet! I’d say my favorite picks are shiraz, pinot noir, merlots, and chardonnays. (And now you have my mouth watering!)
@K*OS–Aww, you’re so sweet. Count me in!
@juls–Thanks for your comment. You flatter me! š
@Centsational Girl–LOL at your “pump and dump” mantra! I’m sure that is certainly in my future!
@sonia–I’m not really decorating for Christmas this year with the baby due at that time. It’s been hard to not have my beloved Christmas decorations up, but I think it’s for the best this year. And her nursery should be finished soon! A friend of mine was sewing some things for the room and she emailed to tell me they’re in the mail. That’s the last thing I have to do, so I should have pictures ready soon!
LOL. Mine look the same.

Stock up, lady because once this beautiful baby pops out, she’s not the only one who’ll be needing a bottle or two!
I thought it was a little chilly in here š
It’s for a good cause D. You shall be reunited soon.

LOL! In due time, my dear.
I, on the other hand, drink it too fast to have any use for a wine rack. Intervention time? =]
Hope you’re well!
hahaha!
I had to go to the liquor store yesterday to get a bottle of wine for a girlfriend’s birthday. It was torture.

Bwwwwwwaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You. Are. Hilarious! And I love you so much for it. What is your favorite kind of wine?
Start dusting them off, girl!
Maybe we’ll have to have a cyber toast once baby arrives — hmmmmm, there’s an idea! Who’s in?!

Not much longer and you can pop a cork or two
