“I bet she just lies around the house all day, eating Nerds, and making G do all the cleaning.”
“She probably drops Kate off at daycare and spends her days shopping.”
“I wonder if she spends hours organizing Kate’s onesies by size and color.”
“I bet she never showers or puts on clean clothes. That’s probably why she doesn’t post pictures of herself on her blog anymore.”
Admit it.
You wonder what the hell I do all day.
Well here’s your chance to find out! Check out my guest post today on The Domestic Wannabe for a very exciting play-by-play of how I spent a recent Sunday.
And in response to the above:
- Do you think if this were true G would agree to hiring a professional cleaner? Because arrangements could be made…
- Never gonna happen.
- Not since I was pregnant. I do, however, still spend a significant amount of time admiring them, smelling them, and laying them across my belly as if Kate were still in there. You know–the normal stuff.
- Okay fine, this one’s true.

Enjoyed it!
But I do miss your fashion posts. Hope you’ll bring them back soon
That was a good read. Love the before and after of the kitchen. In addition to coming over to install blackout lining, you are also most welcome to come over to work your magic on my kitchen too. Even if it only lasts 5 minutes. And I’ll match your Chardonnay to my Pinot Grigio any day.

Just came across your blog. I love your daughters room! How lovely.

Loved the play by play of your day! And your little one is adorable
Can you come clean my kitchen? I don’t even have a baby, and I can’t get my act together. I would be a trip to Philadelphia! I’ll show you the Liberty Bell and run the Rocky steps 😉
Love…left a comment over there too but thought I’d cover all the bases…
Love it! Kate sleeps like a champ…is it luck or did you do any “sleep training”?
Left you something on my blog!

I enjoyed reading your “day in the life”! I would love to hear about an average week day for you too.
Thanks for your comments everyone!
@Elisa–You’re in luck; I’m working on one right now! Stay tuned…
@jbhat–You had me at “chardonnay.” Deal!
@LizzieBeth–Only if Kate can come with me. We’re still enmeshed. :giggle
@Amy and Rick–A little bit of both I’d say, but honestly I’m guessing luck played the biggest role in it. She’s always loved her sleep, we just needed to help her with the “schedule” part of it. We’re also very committed to her naps and bedtime and have almost never deviated from her schedule–even if it means one or both of us need to stay home. It’s worth it in our opinion b/c we know how important sleep is for her. We learned early on that if she is under-rested she’s an absolute grizzy bear!
@Julia–I’ll be sure to do a weekday post for you soon. Thanks for the suggestion!
@Carey–Thank you so much for such a kind recognition! You made my day! 😀
