Mind the GAP

April 13, 2009 By Dusty Rogers 21 Comments

Let me tell you about my newest favorite purchase–these Gap cropped ankle-zip jeans!

Now I know what you’re thinking–because I, too, often say things like “fug” in my head. But ditch the wooden platforms, throw some knee-high boots over those zipped up high-waters–and ta-da!

I’ve found myself the perfect pair of skinny jeans to wear inside my boots. And the best part–they’re on clearance for $25! Check out the link above to snag yourself a pair!

Good call! That way you don’t have that annoying bulge in ankle area or at least I have that problem.

Great find, at the GAP. I will actually be posting about some finds of my own there. I also have to say great job on the lighting in your kitchen. It’s always nice to see women taking home improvment into their own hands.

I also agree that time spent in our favortie home stores would do our wallets and our waist lines good – heehee :)

    Take care,
    Lisa

OK. So I saw the ankle zips and I prayed that you were going somewhere good with the rest of the post and turns out…I should have had infinity more faith in you. :)

Those boots are GORGEOUS by the way – where did you get them?

I was TOTALLY going to comment on the necklace but Allison beat me to it! Love it! And you are hawt!

I bought a pair of skinny jeans ONLY to wear them with boots. I can’t pull those suckers off without knee-high boots to hide my thick calves.

@Allison & Emily–LMAO! You girls know me WAY too well!

@Melissa–I knew what you meant, lol! You can have “infinity” more too if you’d like, heehee!

@mxq–“Shut the front door!” literally made me LOL! That is hilarious!!

@Emily–Yep, they’re from Target. I have them in both black and brown. Love them!

Oh–and the boots are from Target of all places! And only $20! But sadly I got them a few years ago, so you won’t be able to find them on your daily Target trips these days. :(

This is a good idea bc I hate when my jeans feel “scrunched” inside my boots… so annoying!

Yes, this is a great idea. I recently scored a pair of capris on the cheap because they were out of season and threw my black boots over top and tada, new jeans for winter for $7.00! I just found your blog and I really enjoy it, you’ve got really great style and practical tips (some blogs just post outrageously great things at outrageous prices, not for me) Keep up the good work!
