My Weekend Hat

April 20, 2009 By Dusty Rogers 18 Comments

I just love this brown and white tweed hat that I picked up at the Gap a few months ago for only $11! It’s my favorite thing to wear on the weekends when I’m out running errands. The best part is I don’t even have to comb my hair. I can just throw this bad boy on, and I’m good to go!

I’m currently on the look-out for a summer horrid hair hider, so if you spot anything cute I’d love to hear about it!

What’s your favorite weekend accessory?

LOVE it!!! I usually hate what I look like in a hat – and actually put on a ball cap and felt good!!! Let me know if ya find a cute summer hat – I will need one too :)

I love the hat D! I think my favorite weekend accessory is scarves. I love to pull my hair back and tie a scarf around it. Super easy and simple! I can’t pull off wearing a hat!

I love wearing head bands in the summer to pull my hair back off my face. I will hopefully be making some Amy Butler ones soon – stay tuned…

I think my favorite summer accessory is neck scarves (like pashminas…rarr. Spices up an outfit without any effort.)

Love it! I’ve been doing the whole pony tail thing and it’s getting old. Might have to try out a cute hat.

Love your hat! It looks great on you. My GF’S joke if we are wearing a cute hat it is probably b/c we didn’t wash our hair!

Thanks ladies! I’ll be making my usual visit to Target this weekend, so I will be sure to check out their hat selections.

@Carla–I love the look of hair scarfs but I’ve never tried it myself. I may have to give it a chance. Great idea!

I have this hat! I got it for Christmas from JEGs and it quickly became a winter staple. It paired nicely with my teal peacoat!
