I had seen some tips for cleaning this exact space on Pinterest a while back, but most involved using an opened up wire hanger with a disinfectant wipe hooked to the end. Totally DID NOT work. After a frustrating hour or two of bending the hanger this way and that, and trying to fish out the wipe after it fell off the hanger, my husband got out his tools and popped off the back of the door, just as you’ve done in your video. Way easier! It’s amazing to me the junk that can accumulate on that glass — we even had jelly in there! WTF?!

Jelly?! Oh man, that had to be a tricky one to get out. So glad you and your husband ended up going this route – it’s so much easier!

Thank you so much, Allison! I’m hoping this is the last time we’ll need to clean in between there before we sell our house. Fingers crossed!
