Which came first? I don’t really care. Just as long as they’re not on my plate together I’m good. I was faced with the chicken vs. egg choice about 5 minutes ago while surveying lunch options in the office fridge. My grilled chicken breast left over from yesterday? Or the salad with hard-boiled egg I brought today? There is something very disturbing to me about the thought of eating both chicken and egg in the same meal. I can’t even elaborate on this for fear of gagging. I went with the salad.

Hmm. Good point, I’d never thought of that. Then again I don’t eat chicken but still… Aren’t there eggs in mayo? I know a lot of people eat those chicken and mayo salads. Now I have another reason to gag, lol.
You crack me up! Is that like eating caviar with salmon? Not that I would ever be faced with or could afford that option, seeing as how caviar kinda freaks me out.
Hmmm…how common are chicken and egg entrees? Good point, the thought of the two together makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit.
Rachel–I think you’re right. There are eggs in mayo. I’m okay with the egg/egg combo (like egg salad) but chicken salad? Forget about it! Blech! Thanks for the heads up about the mayo. That was a close one. Whew!
