I was just thinking to myself: I could really go for a frozen pizza. I haven’t had one in a while. G and I should have frozen pizza for dinner one night next week.
And then I thought: But I’d have to buy two–one for him and one for me.
Which led to: Hmmm…is that blog worthy? The fact that I can eat an entire frozen pizza by myself in one sitting?
My decision: Nah. Not blog worthy. But oh my God that one night in college when I ate an entire frozen pizza and passed out on the couch is!
So here’s the story:
I got home at bar time one night and had my usual beer munchies, so I threw in a frozen pizza and plopped down on the couch for some late night TV.
The next morning I woke up to this:
An empty cardboard pizza circle on my chest.
TV still on–tuned to an infomercial channel.
My credit card beside me.
Phone on the floor.
Limited recollection of the night before.
Several days later the Torso Tiger ab exercise machine arrived at my door.

LOL, Tom and I had frozen pizza tonight.
LMAO – did it help you burn off your frozen pizza? My college roomie ordered the complete set of Girls Gone Wild for her boyfriend after a late night out at the bars – we never let her live it down.
LMAO, that’s both awesome and hilarious!
I just spit my wine all over my ‘puter. OMG! This is priceless!!
Someone who can eat a whole frozen pizza herself AND drunk order infomercial products….a girl after my own heart =)

Hey…Thanks for checking out theblogformen.com….I know, the blog name is a little, excluding? But…I try to write with a little bigger audience in mind.
Love your blog by the way…Some things go great with alcohol…others…not so much! Keep up the great work, and stop by the blog again sometime!
ROFLMAO. This is funny stuff!
I found your post through the problogger writing project. This is hilarious! I almost ordered a nail decorating kit one night at 3:00 in the morning. I guess my resistance is low then. Thank goodness my husband stopped me!
Too funny! Isn’t eating an entire frozen pizza by yourself the ONLY way to eat frozen pizza?
Too funny.
May I start making requests of some of the stories I think you should tell???:)
I hate to rain on your parade, but I just have to share my own recent pizza experience. You see, I too can eat a whole frozen pizza by myself. However, that is usually what I leave my husband to fix for himself on nights I won’t be home for dinner, because it’s so easy for him to “cook”. Recently he was not home for dinner and I thought, tonight it’s my turn to have a frozen pizza. Then I made the biggest mistake – I turned the box over and read the nutritional information. Now I’m not expecting pizza to be fat free, low carb, or have much nutritional value by any means, but I did not realize just HOW BAD it really is! So, needless to say, I didn’t get to enjoy that pizza, I just couldn’t bear to eat it. However, my jeans aren’t getting any tighter either, so I guess I’ve got that to hold onto.
I hope you have some magical metabolism (which I wouldn’t doubt based on how cute you look in all your pictures, I’d love to have your body, even for a day!) and can enjoy it for me, guilt free
Dude, you just chalked up another reason people should look to you for inspiration . . . except for that whole Torso Tiger Ab part lol!
This made my day!
Thanks, I needed a laugh today.
this is one of the funniest things I’ve read in awhile…thanks for the laugh! =)
Found via Problogger – great stuff!
I entered TimeLife hell once after far too much beer – handed a friend my credit card and asked him to order 484 Soft Rock Classics. I was all automated and eventually in the lengthy process we sobered up enough to realise that $39.99 a month until the end of time was not a good idea. We kept saying “no” to the final “Do you agree to this monthly payment?” but still got billed, and to add insult to injury no CDs arrived.
Luckily my bank sorted it out and money was returned. Never again!
Haha great post. Glad I found it from the ProBlogger project. Alcohol can make for some great stories later on!
Emily–that’s hilarious! At least she was thinking of others during her drunk infomercial dial! I was only thinking of my jelly belly after eating an entire pizza when I did mine, lol!
Beth–OMG, I can only imagine the stories you could suggest–eek!! I think somethings should be kept b/w just the two of us, lol!!
Jessica J–eesh, I’m well aware of the cardiac arrest on cardboard that is frozen pizza. That’s why I don’t keep them in the house anymore. My willpower isn’t strong enough to resist!
Steve–TimeLife hell?? You must have been really drunk to pick up your phone for that one, lol!
Thanks for your comments everyone–so glad you enjoyed sharing in my inebriated shame! I’m sure there’ll be more to come!
