Our 12 week ultrasound (which occurred on June 22, 2009) was amazing! This was our second ultrasound, but it was the first time we actually got to see our baby move. This ultrasound was part of our first trimester screening and lasted about 20 minutes while they gathered all the information they needed. The baby was so cute, moving almost nonstop and waving its little arms and legs. At one point the baby had its ankles crossed and its hands up by the sides of its head and it totally looked like s/he was just kicking back and relaxing in the womb. It was so much fun to watch!
We only got 2D pictures this time (which aren’t as easy to make out as the 3D/4D ones) but her he/she is! (I added some descriptions to the pictures to give you a better idea of what you’re looking at.)
The second picture in this next set is one of my favorites. It’s a picture of the soles of our baby’s feet, with his/her feet crossed at the ankles. So cute!
And speaking of ultrasounds–our ultrasound to determine our baby’s gender is coming up soon! Any guesses on what we’re having?
My bet is she’s a girl! And a very cute one at that!
It’s a girl.
Awwww…..I’m gonna say a boy! =)
Jump on the bandwagon and have a boy like we all do!!! Yahh for boys
I am going to guess that the baby is going to be a girl!
I’m guessing a baby girl…
Baby girl!
I’m guessing girl!
Adorable!
I’m going to guess boy since you haven’t really had morning sickness! I’m certainly no expert, but I have heard from many people that they were really sick with their girls and not sick at all with their boys.
I vote boy too.
jbhat
Boy! Although girls rule and boys drool!
I have one of each (sicker than a dog with the girl and none with the boy)so, I am guessing a boy–plus that way………..he can be the protective older brother and G can get all his rough and tumbles out of the way with him so when the girl comes~~he won’t want “her” to play football!! LOL.
I’m guessing boy. I figure I have a 50-50 shot.
I’m guessing boy. I had all day sickness with my girl, so, that’s the only reason I say boy.
Your baby bump is soooooo cute!
I’m guessing girl because of the speed of the heartbeat.
I say boy, due to your lack of severity in symptoms.
I’m guessing boy.
Love your blog! I’m guessing GIRL since the legs were crossed.
Girl or boy? Doesn’t matter. They are both marvelous in their own way. But I think it’s a girl.
Ooh, the votes are VERY close! So far that’s 9 guesses that it’s a girl and 10 guesses that it’s a boy. We’ll find out soon enough! Eeee–I can’t wait!!
@SassyTimes–Your reasoning for why you think it’s a girl cracked me up! Too cute!
