You look great….love the glasses! And spit up is a way of life. When we first met my niece this summer she was 7 months old, and my husband learned to at least carry a towel…..he loved holding her but was having to switch out button downs all day long!
I wore a black fleece to babysit the other day and it wasn’t until I put it on for the 5 time since then that I noticed I had snot or dried milk on my shoulder from one of the boys… NICE!
I’m digging your longer hair too, btw. Looks great!
I had twins 21 years ago. I went from wearing receiving blankets over my shouldars to not wearing them to changing my shirt to not changing the shirt and then just walked around with spit up on me all day!!
@Pam–My glasses are Nicole Miller. I got that at ShopKo Optical a couple of years ago. The style is called “brown web.”
@Elizabeth–I had no idea “complements” was spelled that way when used in that context. I’ve always used “compliments.” I feel so much smarter now–thank you!
@hopefuls–Thanks! I haven’t been to the hairdresser in almost 5 months. Eek! I really need to get back there, although I do plan on continuing to let it grow for a bit.
@Anonymous–Thank you! According to the scale I’m 5 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight, however, according to my clothes my body still has a ways to go! Things are much squishier these days, lol.
Ugg!! I know! Wyatt still spits up (more like mini vomit) about once a week – I think it’s when he eats too much/drinks too much milk. Last night as we were boarding the plane home from FL, he let out about 2 TBSP all over him and me. It was great.
And the fragrance of it … I call it Eau de Mama. You’re so cute.
Looking good momma!
It is so frustrating! I was just lamenting yesterday how every shirt I own has some kind of stain on it, and my son is two and a half!
You look cute! Welcome to mama-hood!
Oh yeah………..you betcha and you are sure rocking it girl! You look fabulous!!

You look great, D! Where did you get your glasses and what brand? Love them and I need some new ones soon.
haha niiice! You look gorgeous though – I think the spit-up compliments your skin tone nicely
And that would be “complements” although hey, if it’s gonna stain your shirt, the least it can do is say something nice!

You look great! There will be many more stains to come! Stain remover will become your best friend!
Good times. Good times.
Let’s see more baby pictures too!
It’s like a shoulder badge of honor. I wear it with pride myself.

Tide stick is my friend. I keep one in my diaper bag:) Hope all is going well with Kate and Motherhood!!
haha – it’s even better when you don’t know you have it and wander out into the real world.
You wear it well, D!
haha, then I guess that means you are stuper stylish!

Damn you D. You make motherhood look a LITTLE TOO APPEALING. )No, but I’m being serious.) You may have spit-up on your clothes but you are GORGEOUS.
Mine’s always over the left shoulder, too lol!! You look so great for just having a baby:))
I agree fully!
Love it! I’ll be sporting that look before I know it
Who would of thought us girls wouldn’t mind being spit on? My daughter is 11 and I miss those days! (:
hahaha love it!

@Mel–You are just too damn sweet. Thank you for making this frumpled, post-partum woman’s day!
@Kadi–Talk about timing! Hopefully the rest of the plane ride was much better!
Being a mom suits you… you look great!! Congratulations!
