Hooray for being done with the surgery. What a relief it must be to have that part over with. She’ll be fine soon. But you might need a spa day after her recovery period. It’ll probably be harder on you guys than Kate.

    Dusty-
It gets better, it really does. Those first few days post surgery are rough (at least they were on Izzie). We had a rough time with pain management and eating (Izzie was so stubborn). Thinkinbg of you and praying that Kate heals quickly. Will her arms be in braces to prevent her putting her hands in her mouth?? Any questions I would be happy to answer if I can. I can only imagine what you are going through.
It does get better. Thinking of you all~

Praying for you guys and kate! How is she eating? My daughter didn’t have much appetite while she was on some of the stronger pain meds, but once she was just on tylenol and eating better, she was back to herself soon! Sleeping was definitely rough for a few weeks too! My email is EuniceYChou at gmail dot com. Please let me know if there’s anything we can do or if you have questions!
