I have entered the world of maternity jeans–and it may surprise some of you to know that I love them! Oh that sweet elastic–my waistline thanks you. In fact, I may never go back to regular jeans again. No more zippers. No more buttons. This is where it’s at people!

Jeans: Old Navy Maternity (on clearance for $15!)
Top: Old Navy
Camisole: New York & Company
Shoes: Nicole
Pregnancy: 20 weeks

Keeping it real:

LOVE maternity jeans. I always put off wearing them because ugh, they’re MATERNITY but then I remember how comfy and amazing they feel.

    You look fabulous!

Those jeans look adorable when your shirt is down. You’d never know you had 8 inches of sweet elastic under there! :)

I busted out the maternity jeans finally this week too. I was thinking the same thing, where have you been all my life??? I picked up two pairs at the Gap, they are fantastic and I know what a big Gap fan you are :)

Super sexy! What’s not super sexy is still wearing your maternitiy jeans close to 3 weeks post-partum, as I am. But they’re definitely loose, so that’s a good sign!

    You look great…happy and healthy.

I HEART maternity jeans and I am not afraid to post that! They are uber comfortable and surprisingly, you can find them to be uber stylish as well! Just an FYI to anyone looking for a good deal on them: I just bought a pair of dark denim maternity jeans from Gap for $14.98 on the sale rack!

Have you bought yourself a Bella Band yet? I heart those as well and as you get bigger, they feel even better!

I fully believe everyone should have to wear maternity jeans for holidays (primarily Thanksgiving and Christmas). LOL

I have a friend who wore her’s for 2 years after her son was born. She lost all the weight, fast- no problem, but she just loved the jeans.

Yes!!! Mat jeans are FANTASTIC. I fought the Mat jeans to a bitter end when I was pregnant. When I finally gave in, I thought, GOOD HEAVENS!! It’s like a pajama/denim hybrid! And then I wore them for 8 weeks after baby. :)
I’m thinking about starting to wear them whenever I THINK about having another one. :)

    You look sooooo cute!

Look at all of us maternity jeans-loving ladies. Ah, the comfort! Your comments are all so sweet–you really know how to make a pregnant woman’s day. Thank you!

@Windy City Kelley’s–I had this misconception that maternity jeans would look like…well, maternity jeans, too. But it turns out (luckily) that not all of them do!

@Karen–Oh yes, I’ve hit up GAP’s maternity clearance too. Love them!

@Sarah La Jeune Marie–Thank you! It will be a sad sad day when I have to hang up the heels. I won’t go down without a fight!

@jbhat–CONGRATULATIONS! Oh, I’m so happy for you! What did you have? How are you all doing?? I’m sure you look FANTASTIC! Plus they say post-partum is the “4th trimester” so I fully intend to stick with my elastic pants too!

@Christine–Yep, I have a belly band. I’m happy to hear it’ll get even more comfortable as I grow!

@Elise–Wow, thank you for such a wonderful compliment. I am truly flattered! Thanks for taking the time to drop me a line, and I’m so happy to hear you enjoy my site. Thank you!

@HG–LOL! You’re a woman after my own heart. I loved your “pajama/denim hybrid” line–too funny!

My daughter is about to be 9 months old and I am stil wearing a pair of my capri maternity pants….and not for the size…for the comfort!!! The elastic part is about worn out because I wore them for most of my pregnacy with my son who is 22 months….I have been wearing them for about 2 years!!!!!!! I just can’t make my self put them up!!!

You look so awesome in those jeans! I couldn’t find a single pair that didn’t make my butt look square or make me look like I was ready for a flood. So, I only wore shorts and dresses.

I can’t wait to see you soon. 2 more weeks, baby!
