Remember my girls weekend getaway to Alabama last month? We were blessed to have some pretty fantastic photographers in our group. At our last get-together I took over 300 pictures in just the short weekend we were together. But for this one I took zero. That’s right, not a single picture–something completely unprecedented in G&D history! I figured there was just no point with all these talented women around snapping photos and capturing our weekend so much better than I ever could have. Case in point: my friend Kelly from Georgia. Kelly is a therapist by trade but artist at heart, and she captured some of my favorite images from our trip. Her beloved camera was never far from her side, and when she asked to snap a few pregnancy pictures of me and the bump, I just couldn’t resist taking advantage of her skills!
These first two pictures were taken after a lazy Saturday afternoon of lounging around Beth’s parents’ house and enjoying a nice long dip in their pool:

The next day we went to the University of Montevallo where Kelly snapped some more shots:

You can see more of Kelly’s beautiful work at her photography blog: The Bond Between Us. Thank you so much for such wonderful pictures Kelly–I will treasure these forever!

Those are so beautiful! Your facial expression in the photo where you’re looking down at your bump in front of the tree is gorgeous. I know pregnant women probably hear this all the time, but you’re GLOWING!!!
You really do have uber talented friends.
your friend is very talented and you look beautiful! i loved my bikini bump and took lots of pics in jamaica when i was at about 20-something weeks. i look back at them regularly!
As I’ve said before… These pictures are just perfect! Darling and just so perfect!!! Maybe one of them will make it into your nursery!?!?
Beautiful! For my maternity pics, I decided to do funny ones (eating pickles and Rita’s water ice, etc.) They actually turned out adorable! Here’s the link if you want to see them =)
