I was a bit shocked, though I guess when you’re down to the last 6 it’s bound to happen. Too bad, but I’m sure he will continue to make his mark!
I’ve made my peace with it. I think that in the end it will be better for him than winning because now he won’t have to release some pop-y song like “This Is My Now” or whatever. Hopefully someone will sign him and he’ll get to make an album more like him and what he does…?
