    Amen to that! Parenthood is when you also stop freaking out about germs so much and just let them eat the random cheerios anyway. :)

    Ha ha. We found elbow pasta in the washer the other day (clean; the cheese had washed off) and then some more in the dryer later (shriveled, heat hardened). I suspect they came from a bib or a cloth napkin.

    Also–I have found dried up peas in random nooks and crannies of our eating areas, after someone has tossed them on floor during messy eating. They actually look kind of cool once they are dehydrated. I think they’d look good strung together as a necklace.
