Less than 24 hours from now, some of my favorite women in the world will board planes and hop in cars to come together for the kind of rejuvenating, joyful, laugh your ass off weekend that can only be experienced among the company of overworked, overtired, and overwhelmed wives and mothers who decide—for one weekend a year—to press the pause button on life and simply celebrate our friendships.
I cannot wait.

You are going to have a blast! Shelley. (Allisons mom)
How fun! Hope you all have a great time.
My girls and I do the same a bit later in the fall! Funny because my husband thinks we are long lost twins. We have a “command center” calendar, I try to make everything we can homemade, and I love wine and Pink. We’ve been following your blog since a friend forwarded me your nursery pics (so cute btw). Thanks for a bunch of great ideas over the past year or so. Our twins turn 1 today, so they are a bit behind Kate. Check out our blog at lindyanderic.blogspot.com!
I looove girls trips! Have so much fun!
Ooh, and you’re going to be all skinny too! Have fun.

I’m so jealous! I need a good girls’ weekend. Enjoy!
Thanks everyone!
@Lindy–Certainly sounds like we do have a lot in common! Happy belated birthday to your twins, and congratulations on surviving that first year of parenting. Two at once? I can’t imagine. Overachiever!
