Too funny!! At least you can take part in such a conversation :) :) I have three daughters and I can count the number of times ON ONE HAND that people have said that they look like me. Seriously! Two look JUST like my sister and my youngest one looks JUST like my husband. It's not fair!!!!! I'm the one who birthed them and do most of the work ;) I have dark brown hair and all my girls have white blonde hair! It's ridiculous!! I always say I'm not done having kids until at least one looks like me..but three is a lot right now.
ANYWAY!!!! I agree, Kate is the perfect mix of both of you :)

Either way she is flippin' adorable!
Ha!!! Our first was a little girl (Kate reminds me of her a lot!) and she looked JUST LIKE her daddy! Now she has a two-month old little brother and he looks JUST LIKE me! How crazy is that?! How does that work, that a girl looks like her daddy and a boy his mommy? Sophia and her daddy are both blondies and Jonathan and I are redheads! Fun!

I actually read somewhere that babies do come out looking more like their daddies for just that reason.
