Buttoned Cardigan

April 27, 2009 By Dusty Rogers 12 Comments

Still waiting for spring to find it’s way to Wisconsin! In the meantime, I’m throwing cardigans over my spring and summer tops.

Top: New York & Company
Cardigan & Jeans: GAP
Boots: Nine West
Necklace: New York & Company
Nail Color: Jessica Nail Colour in Copper
Wine: Chardonnay

I’m not much of a jewelry person, so when I do wear something it has to pack a punch–like this gorgeous turquoise beaded necklace.

I love the little buttons on the sleeves of this cardigan–best seen while lifting my arm to take a sip of my wine. Especially nice, because that’s the position my arm is in more often than not.

Is it me or is Spring taking a very LONG time to appear in the midwest this year?

I love the necklace, where did you get it?

I am ALL about the costume jewelry this season and as such…YOUR NECKLACE is lust worthy. We need to live like 4 hours closer so that I can borrow it.

    Thanks everyone!

@Emily–why yes, I’ve got a second bottle chilling, just waitng for you! šŸ˜€

@Windy City Kelley’s–YES! I don’t even think we’re going to get much of a spring. I think we’ll go straight to summer. Which totally sucks. Just like last year when we skipped autumn. I was so bummed. :(

The necklace is from New York & Company, but I got it last year.

@Melissa–if you move closer, I’ll let you borrow whatever you’d like, girl!
