Black is such a great color. Love the necklace – the shape is great.
Every so often I do a simple black shirt – usually when I feel like going back to bed…lol. Still jealous that you can wear jeans to work!
I read your blog all the time – but rarely post a question. You truly are a beautiful pregnant woman – cute in every way:)I’m just starting my pregnancy journey…well, actually I’m 10 weeks – so I guess that’s not the beginning, anymore! Anyhoo – just curious to know – are you buying maternity tops or just a larger size?
LOVE the necklace – so cute. I agree, black rules! I’m seriously thinking of one day going the angelina jolie/carolyn bessette route and sticking to black and white.
Love that outfit! That shirt is adorable and you paired is so well with the necklace. I PPH you D!
LOVE,LOVE,LOVE that necklace!!! You can never go wrong with black and white! Those are the colors my wardrobe mainly consist of. I do have color, but A LOT of black and white!
looking good, as usual! do you find the ON mat jeans fall down? mine never stayed up, regardless of what size i bought!
you look great!! i love that you don’t hide your bump, either.
I love the necklace! I’ll have to go necklace shopping at Target soon!
Fantastic Necklace!
This is your casual day? Oh man, I am put to shame.
Thanks for your wonderful comments everyone! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again–you all sure know how to make a pregnant lady’s day! Thank you!!
To all my fellow black and white lovers–for years my wardrobe only consisted of black and white. My BFF Jamie would be on me all the time to get me to buy some color, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. It’s only over the past few years that I’ve finally expanded my horizon, but basic black still is–and always will be–my favorite. Gotta love it!
@blondie–OMG, I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t wear jeans to work. These days it’s what I wear nearly every day!
@Anonymous–Thank you so much for your comment, and congrats on your pregnancy! I’ve purchased a few maternity tops, but so far I’m still getting away with wearing my regular tops that are just longer in length (like this one). I’ve found that for the most part maternity tops are still too big for me (they hang down too far for now–until my belly grows into them some more).
@bklyn–My biggest complaint for ALL maternity jeans is that they tend to droop and fall down. Drives me nuts. I have 2 pairs of ON maternity jeans (and they’re the exact same style, just different lengths) and they seem to stay up okay. They’re the full-panel style and the elastic is pretty strong, so that definitely helps.
@christi–Thank you! I’ve always thought pregnancy was so beautiful and vowed to do my best to love and appreciate every curve of my body someday when I got pregnant. So far it’s been easy–I’m truly loving it!
@Melissa–I should clarify–this is my casual day for work. Right now I’m sitting at home in a tank top and sweat pants. Very not cute, but super comfortable, and super casual!
Wear a tank top underneath your maternity jeans. That will help them stay up better.
@Momma Salsa–thanks for the tip!
