No, this isn’t a Miley Cyrus music video – it’s Haven!
Last year I attended the first-ever Haven Conference for DIY and home décor bloggers, and something super surprising happened:
In fact – they embraced me!
True story.
I hugged so many hot Havenistas that I considered the act (coupled with my incessant wine glass to mouth action) my arm workout for the month. On top of that, I had the thrill of meeting some of my favorite bloggers who I’ve considered my friends for years – and now that we’ve met, we really are!
(If I meet you and like you, we’re friends. That’s my rule.)
Not only did I get to meet these fabulous favorite bloggers of mine, but if you go to the Haven Conference website you’ll notice that THIS is one of the first pictures you’ll see in the header! WHA?!

The Haven Conference, Day 2
So many crazy things happened during Day 2 that I can’t even sum it up in sentence. What, with my hangover and 5″ eyeliner, the Dusty Hump Sandwich months in the making, meeting soulmates in the wine line, taking dares involving saxophone players, and closing down restaurants in the ATL…you’re just going to have to click and read to get all the juicy details.
The Haven Conference, Day 3
“Haven is like Las Vegas.
Time ceases to exist when you’re there.”

OH THE FUN WE HAD!
And I CANNOT WAIT to discover all the fun we’re going to have again this year! Haven 2013 is less than one week away and I plan to BRING IT, ya’ll! (<- look at me, already practicing my southern).

Awesome post! Now I’m soooo excited…mostly for that arm workout (is that how Madonna gets her arms? I’m signing up for that wine glass to mouth workout!). Can’t WAIT to meet everyone!

So afterparty at your place?! Rumor has it there’s a Trader Joe’s with $2.99 wine down the street from our hotel. Haven is going to be so much fun, hopefully we’ll get to meet at some point!
