I received a rather interesting request from AudreyGolightly who wants to see the inside of my fridge–as is–right this very moment. Well, who am I to deny a loyal reader? So here it is–sans a nice cleaning and any attempt at straightening–for Ms. Golightly and all you other voyeurs out there.
Allow me to give you the $5 tour. Top shelf (l to r): Milk, OJ, what looks like a bottle of Aquafina jammed in back, a bottle of Leinenkugel’s Honey Weiss beer (a Wisconsin favorite), deli meat, what started out as a 6-pack of Leinenkugel’s Berry Weiss (cuz G said I could drink my fruit), and that red and black striped container shoved in the back right corner is something that hasn’t been touched in weeks. Maybe even months.
2nd shelf (l to r): A case of Miller Light. Then we have some cottage cheese, bread, more deli meat, some leftovers, and in the back–a tub of Country Crock butter big enough to last us ’til our unborn kids are in college.
3rd shelf: Block cheese & cream cheese in the drawer (we’re Wisconsinites–our cheese gets its own section of the fridge), some lamb meat G brought home for Chase, hard boiled eggs, and a flank steak marinating in a ziploc on top the eggs.
Bottom drawers: Left drawer is full of V8 and bottled water. Right drawer has a bag of yogurt and a couple of apples that I still haven’t eaten yet (but I have 5 more days!).
And the door of the fridge–an assortment of condiments in addition to my beloved hot dogs (GASP–only 4 left!) and some yummy Pomegranate Smirnoff Ice. PS–that box of baking soda is older than you.

Mmm, Cardinis – they make the best ranch dressing. How fun to see into your fridge!
Hey, I gotta tell you that the only other time I’ve seen “G&D” typed like that is on another blog where it stands for “Gorgeous & Divine” so that’s what I think when I see your name LOL – I guess that’s a nickname you can probably live with ;o)
I love that you followed through and that every WInite can be proud of you for your ample supply of Leinie’s and cheese . . . you know if there ever was something for a WInite to be proud of.
Love that your organization carries over to your fridge. It really shouldn’t be another way.
Can people go to doggie hell? I think I’ll be seeing you there.
Even your fridge is organized. Somehow I’m just not surprised by that. :o)
Love the case of Miller though – in our house, the beer gets its own fridge though…gotta love Wisconsin!
I love the cheese section.. I’m a huge cheese lover (mouse from another life)
Thanks for coming by the blog!
jen m–oh yes, that’s a nickname I could live with for sure, lol!
Thanks so much for obliging me. Sorry so long to give thanks for the pictures and tour, we had a
4th of July party of our own and I’m still recovering.
I’m an organizing freak myself so I secretly compete with you in organizing our new house (you’re winning). Oneday, I’ll get it all together.
