| Kate: 10 Months |
As some of you noticed, Kate’s crazy hair has finally surrendered and no longer sticks straight out in all directions. Apparently those strawberry blond locks (of strange and varying lengths) have made peace with her pale scalp and they’ve now decided to be friends. This truce–which happened shortly after her first birthday–was a little hard for me and G to accept. We loved Kate’s crazy hair, and much to our dismay her tame mane makes her look so grown up!
Oh well, at least we still have pictures!

I understand what you mean. I am a fan of crazy hair on kids. My nephew had crazy hair for about 4 years and then they took him in for a hair cut and he went from a baby to a bit boy in an instant. I was heartbroken. However his cut is super cute and he is technically a big boy now.
You’re daughter is precious.
I love the crazy hair! Too cute.
Waah! She’s growing up.

My hair looks like that when I wake up. True story
I love crazy hair on kids!!
ahh…i love crazy baby hair…i always think of it as dandylion hair…!..and want to make a special wish…babies are babies for wayyyy to short a time !
Completely unrelated but do you still have your greyhound? I was debating rescuing a greyhound but was wondering how they are with children.
My son is 10 months and has fine, sticky up blonde hair just like Kate’s was. Everywhere I go with him people say “Love the hair!”. I used to wish he just had flat hair, then I came to embrace and celebrate the crazy hair, and now I’m going to miss it when it falls flat!
