Thank you to everyone who shared birthday wishes for Kate on Wednesday! We had a wonderful time celebrating her 3rd birthday with her “little party” at home (pics on my Facebook page and Instagram), and now I’m bursting with excitement over her “big party” this weekend!
She’s having a Cars-themed party (her first and favorite movie) and I can’t wait to share all the details! Here’s a peek at the birthday slideshow I made for the event (set to two of our favorite songs from the Cars movie):
More details coming soon!
Love the slide show! It has been a joy to watch Kate grow up through your blog. Can’t wait to see all the details of her Cars birthday party. That is my 2 year old nephew’s favorite movie too, and I’m pretty sure that will be the theme of his birthday party this year. I’m sure I will be pinning some of your ideas!
Such a special girl! She has had a wonderful three years and I loved seeing every moment of it in that slideshow! Such a joyous little girl, it brought me tears of joy! Happy Birthday Kate!
So adorable….you know I have never seen the movie CARS……on Christmas Day I was home with my family (for the first time in 20 years) and I fell in my parents driveway and broke my leg and have to have emergency surgery. Not fun. So i am laid up at home for quite a while and just got a care package in the mail from a sweet friend. She included some fun movies, and the first one I pulled out was CARS! Now i have to watch it, right?
Such an adorable little girl! Loved the slide show! Happy Belated Birthday Kate! Can’t wait to see her actual party pictures. You do such an AMAZING job Dusty! =)
Okay whoops! The girl that is helping me in my office had to sign into google to print something from her e-mail and I didn’t realize it until my comment published under the wrong name! LOL I’m not workoutgirl2011! haha I will know better next time not to do that before checking! 😉
Thank you so much, everyone!
@Diane: I’m so sorry to hear about your leg – that’s terrible!! I hope you are resting and recovering well! (And I hoped you liked the Cars!)
This is absolutely amazing. I love that even though it was definitely a theme party, the pieces were so unique. I love te cones you have going into the theatre and the food ideas are too cool. Awesome job!
Also, how can Kate be 3? She’s such a beautiful and vibrant little girl.
love the ideal with the construction cones, I would like to know where I can find the decals to put on the cones as well as the flags.
