What’s on Kate’s Plate?

October 12, 2012 By Dusty Rogers 3 Comments

My picky little eater still won’t eat bread, so we continue to rely quite often on tortillas for her meal ideas.  This most recent idea – a peanut butter/banana/raisin roll-up – is a spin off  of a Betty Crocker recipe I found on Pinterest, and a fun little way to mix things up!

Peanut butter, banana, raisin roll-up

Kate’s lunch:

  1. Peanut butter, banana, raisin tortilla roll-up
  2. Sliced pears
  3. Annie’s organic bunny crackers

When did Kate go from eating pieces to wraps? My daughter is 14 months, and she likes all of her food separate. I’ve tried to do grilled cheese or peanut butter sandwiches, but she would rather have pieces of bread and pieces of cheese…just not together.

    Thank you, Katie!

@Anne Marie: Kate also likes to eat her food items one-at-a-time. Even though I may offer her sandwiches (or this roll-up) she typically pulls it apart and eats the ingredients one at a time. Oh well – all we can do is offer!
