Two years ago I started a journaling practice where I visualize my biggest dreams and goals and then write them out as if they’ve already happened. One of my big dreams was someday owning Galleria 214 – a gorgeous historic building in downtown Cambridge, Wisconsin.
January 20, 2020 was the first day I wrote out my goal “I own Galleria 214” on paper…
…and now that’s actually true.
I am overjoyed to share that my husband Greg and I are now the proud new owners of historic 214 W. Main Street in downtown Cambridge!
It is such an honor to be entrusted with this building by Dave Mittlesteadt and Nancy Sheahan, who have owned Galleria 214 for the past five years. During this time they have put so much work into this historic building (originally built in 1892) to ensure it stays standing and thriving for many generations to come.
Galleria 214 is home to six women-owned businesses including my two businesses: Revive Salt Room & Spa and Details Boutique; Ruby Rose Gallery owned by Dave Mittlesteadt, Nancy Sheahan, and Meghan Barthel; Little Joys Children’s Boutique owned by Toni Gilbertson; Amanda Reed Skin Care owned by Amanda Lynn; and our newest arrival, Millie’s Coffee & Eatery owned by Courtney Sargent and Jen O’Branovich.
My next big dream for 214 is to carry on what Dave and Nancy have started, making Galleria 214 a premiere day trip destination attracting tourists all throughout the Midwest, continuing to serve our incredible locals, and helping to strengthen Cambridge’s unique and historic downtown.
My family and I are so excited for this next adventure!
Awesome news, Dusty! Very excited for you, your family, and Cambridge! 👏👏😊
Thank you so much, Carla!
